Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pawel Jablonski said that Warsaw may take "non-standard actions" if Germany continues to resist the supply of tanks to Ukraine.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Euro Integration.

"I think that if there is strong resistance, then we will be ready to take such non-standard measures, even if someone is offended by it. But let's not get ahead of events, but try to involve as many countries as possible in effective cooperation with Germany," he said.

According to Pawel Solokh, adviser to the President of Poland, no key decisions regarding the transfer of Leopard tanks to Ukraine will be made at Friday's meeting of NATO defense ministers in Ramstein, Germany.

"Much depends on the determination of such countries of the Alliance as Poland, Finland or Denmark," the presidential adviser said about the pressure on Berlin, which, according to the agreements, must give its consent before transferring these machines to Ukraine.

The president's adviser believes that if our western neighbors do not agree to this, it will mean "a rift within NATO itself." In his opinion, this would have an extremely negative impact on the general situation in the Alliance.

"We expect that the pressure on Germany will be so strong that the transfer of heavy weapons to Ukraine will take place without violating the previous unity," said Solokh.

At the same time, he does not exclude that Germany may sue Poland in case of transfer of tanks without consent.

"Germany has the right to sue us for this, but it seems unlikely. I hope that a compromise will be found, but such that in the end Ukraine will receive these tanks," Solokh added.
