Leopard-2 for Ukraine: our tankers have started training in Germany
On February 13, Ukrainian tankers began learning how to drive Leopard tanks.
This was reported by the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany, informs Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform.
"Germany has decided to hand over 14 Leopard-2A6 tanks to Ukraine. Training on these systems began today," the spokeswoman said.
She added that the training is planned to be completed by the end of the first quarter, which will be synchronized with the transfer of the tanks.
We will remind you that Berlin decided to transfer Leopard main battle tanks to Ukraine, and also allowed their re-export to countries that have them in service and are ready to transfer them to Ukraine.
