Greece hands over 20 BMP-1s to Ukraine, - Defense Minister Panayiotopoulos
Greece provided ammunition and 20 BMP-1 armored vehicles as part of its military assistance to Ukraine.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, this is stated on the website of Defense Ministry of Greece.
Greek Defense Minister Nicolaos Panayiotopoulos said at a conference of the Contact Group on Ukrainian Defense that the country had provided Ukraine with 20 BMP-1 vehicles and ammunition as part of humanitarian and defense assistance.
Panayiotopoulos also stressed that Greece would continue to support the righteous struggle of the Ukrainian people to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
