Ukrainians get lot of applause, but not enough ammunition - Borrell
The whole world applauds the Ukrainians, but Ukraine receives insufficient ammunition - it’s a paradox.
This was stated by the Vice-President of the European Commission, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell at the Munich Security Conference on February 19, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to LeagueBusinessInform.
"Zelensky and Ukrainians get a lot of applause, but not enough ammunition. This is a paradox. They need less applause and a better supply of weapons," Borrell emphasized.
The head of European diplomacy noted that the Ukrainian people are at war and paying the highest price - with human lives.
"But this war is taking place on European soil, it affects us and has a global impact on the whole world, which also affects our security," Borrell said.
He emphasized that Ukraine needs tanks and called for an urgent solution to the problem of ammunition shortages.
