Rada voted in favor of Nalyvaichenko dismissal

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted in favor of dismissal of the SBU Head Valentyn Nalyvaichenko proposed by President Petro Poroshenko.

248 people's deputies supported the draft decree No. 2110a as a whole, Censor.NET reports.

The draft reads: "In accordance with point 121 part 1 article 85 of Constitution of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada decided to dismiss Valentyn Oleksandrovych Nalyvaichenko as the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine."

Most of Petro Poroshenko Bloc, People's Front, and Samopomich (except for seven MPs) faction deputies voted in favor for Nalyvaichenko dismissal. 13 Batkivshchyna MPs also voted in favor of the draft decree.

Radical Party, it its turn, has not supported the decision in question.
