Grain agreement was extended for another 120 days, - Kubrakov

Ukraine has reached agreements with Turkey and the UN regarding the extension of the grain agreement for 120 days.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov on Facebook.
"I am grateful to the Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres and the President of Turkey Recep Erdogan, as well as to all partner countries for their joint efforts to extend the validity of the document (grain agreement - ed.) for another 4 months," the minister said.
According to him, such a continuation means that Ukraine will continue to export agricultural products through three sea ports.
Kubrakov noted that since August 1, 25 million tons of agricultural products have been sent to meet the needs of the world.
"At the same time, the main challenge is the acceleration of inspection checks in Turkey. This will allow the world to receive even more Ukrainian agricultural products. We are also continuing work on joining the grain initiative of the ports of the Mykolaiv region and expanding the range of cargo," the official added.
