European Union insists that Xi Jinping talk to Zelensky, - Financial Times

The European Union supports the talks between the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and insists on such a dialogue.

This is reported by the Financial Times, Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.

As the publication notes, one of the EU officials said that the bloc wants Xi to talk to Zelensky the same way he talked to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

"We think it's positive that China is at least participating... But I think we're pushing, and we've pushed a lot, that they do it both ways, with Russia, but also with Ukraine," the FT reports. official's words.
