Russians throw even tuberculosis patients into battle, - Cherevaty

The Russians do not hesitate to recruit sick fighters who pose a threat to the Armed Forces. Ukrainian soldiers are instructed and especially try not to come into contact with them.
This was stated by Serhiy Cherevaty, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports with reference to Channel 24.
"The dynamics of the fighting here is such that we do not have mass captures of prisoners. As a rule, we give statistics of 1-3 prisoners per day," he said.
Cherevaty noted that, as a rule, Russians surrender when their core group is eliminated.
"And someone was able to surrender in time due to injuries or the fact that he was not hit by fire, and our units came in. There were tuberculosis patients and other cases," said the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He also told whether the occupiers take the bodies of their fighters.
"In fact, where it is not possible to take them away under fire, they remain to a large extent. And, of course, this will be a problem over time," Cherevaty explained.
According to him, negotiations are underway to remove these bodies if possible.
"After all, there is a certain ethics even in military conflicts. Ukraine absolutely adheres to all international agreements, standards, written and unwritten rules of conduct on the battlefield," he added.
