As reports Censor.NЕТ, this is stated by Ukrinform.

The announcement was made by the Office of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after his meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal.

"Since January 2022, Canada has announced more than $8 billion in financial, military, humanitarian, immigration, and development assistance," the statement said.

It is noted that this amount includes more than $5 billion in financial assistance, more than $1 billion in military support, $352.5 million in humanitarian aid, $127 million in development support, and more than $102 million in security and stabilization assistance.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal is currently on a one-day visit to Canada. He has already held talks with Justin Trudeau, Defense Minister Anita Anand, Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland. In addition, the head of the Ukrainian government spoke with the leadership of the Ukrainian community in Canada.
