Lithuania provided Ukraine with military assistance worth 454 million euros, - Defense Minister Anušauskas

Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anuauskas said that military aid provided to Ukraine had reached 454 million euros and reiterated that Lithuania is ready to support Ukraine until it defeats Russia.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, this was mentioned by the Lithuanian newspaper Delfi.
"At the moment, the assistance (to Ukraine - ed.) amounts to 454 million euros. We are now also looking for ways to initiate new purchases, allocate funds to international funds, and provide training for Ukrainians," Anušauskas said at a Tuesday evening session of the Seimas.
He added that this year Lithuania is ready to train 3-4 times more Ukrainian military than last year. "If last year we trained 500 Ukrainian soldiers, this year we plan to train about 1600, and maybe up to 2000. In fact, we cannot always say how many will be trained, but our commitment is to support Ukraine until it defeats the aggressor," the Defense Minister said.
