Russian journalists were not issued visas to USA. Lavrov promised that "he will not forget, he will not forgive"

The United States did not grant visas to Russian journalists to accompany the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to the UN General Assembly.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian media.
As noted, on April 24, Sergey Lavrov will take part in one of the central events of the Russian presidency of the UN Security Council - an open debate on the topic "Effective multilateralism through the protection of the principles of the UN Charter."
At the same time, the US embassy did not issue visas to a group of Russian journalists who were supposed to fly to New York to cover Lavrov's work there.
The media noted that Lavrov called it stupid not to issue American visas to the journalist pool that was supposed to accompany him on the trip to New York, and promised that the Russian side would not forget or forgive this decision.
RIA Novosti quoted a Russian diplomatic source as saying that the treatment of American journalists in Russia will be the same as the treatment of Russian journalists in the United States after the issue of visas not being issued to work at the United Nations. According to him, American journalists will feel all the discomfort, inconvenience, and similar treatment. The source casually mentioned The Wall Street Journal journalist Evan Hershkovich, illegally arrested in the Russian Federation.
