The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that, according to the data available to him, there are no threats of an attack from Belarus today.

Zelensky said this at a joint press conference with Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Kallas in Zhytomyr, answering journalists' questions about the defense capability of the region and the situation on the border with Belarus, Censor.NET informs with reference to "Interfax-Ukraine".

"I believe that today, precisely today, according to all the data I have, there is no threat in this direction (from the side of Belarus. - Ed.)," the head of state said.

He also said that during the meetings of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, issues of defense in the regions are periodically considered. At the same time, they are not subject to detailed publicity.

"As part of the meetings of the Stavka, issues of defense in the regions are considered. This is very important for us.
We don't communicate much about this in public, because I believe that we should not train our enemy, wherever and on the territory of which state he is," Zelensky said.
