We will liberate Crimea without fight, - Reznikov

In Kyiv, it was emphasized that not only a purely military, but also a military-political scenario of de-occupation of the peninsula is being considered.

This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov in an interview with The Atlantic, Censor.NET reports.

According to the publication, the Ukrainian leadership is leaning towards a "military-political" de-occupation instead of a purely military one, realizing that Russia has turned the peninsula into a fortress in nine years.

"After they (Ukrainians. - Ed.) block roads, railways, and waterways to the peninsula and attack military infrastructure with the help of drones, it can be assumed that many Russians, especially recent immigrants (those Russians who illegally settled in Crimea after annexation. - Ed.), will be convinced that it would be better for them to live elsewhere," the newspaper writes.

"We will liberate Crimea without a fight," Reznikov said.
