Russia must not win the war and must answer for the crime of aggression.
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said this on Thursday in The Hague at a briefing after a meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, informs Censor.NET with reference to "Interfax-Ukraine".
"The determination and courage of Ukrainian soldiers and yours has no precedents. We all admire you... This is a war against freedom and democracy. Russia cannot win this war and must be held accountable for the crime of aggression," he said.
According to him, "the Netherlands will do everything to ensure justice for Ukraine."
"Daily brutal Russian aggression reminds us that the rule of law is not a given," Rütte also noted.
"Your visit sends a signal that the people of Ukraine will not succumb to Russian aggression," he said.
