Constitutional Commission approved draft amendments to Constitution on decentralization, - Rada Speaker Hroisman

Constitutional Commission approved draft amendments to Constitution at its meeting on Friday, those concerning decentralization with suggestions by the Venice Commission.

This was announced by Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Volodymyr Hroisman, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"I want to congratulate all the members of the Constitutional Commission on the first decision that we made, I want to emphasize and to announce that we will continue our work and we will continue to develop our proposals," he said at the meeting on Friday.

Hroisman said the draft constitutional amendments on decentralization will be submitted to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
