Head of European Commission von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv

On Tuesday, 9 May, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Ukraine on the occasion of Europe Day.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to von der Leyen's Twitter.

"It's nice to be back in Kyiv, where the values that are important to us are defended every day. So it is a very fitting place to celebrate Europe Day here. I welcome President Zelensky's decision to celebrate Europe Day on 9 May here in Ukraine as well," he said in a statement.
