Ukraine needs more time to prepare for counteroffensive, - Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine still needs more time to launch a counter-offensive.
He said this in an interview with the BBC, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine still need "some things", including armored vehicles, which are "coming in batches".
"With what we already have, we can go forward and succeed. But we would lose a lot of people. I think this is unacceptable. So we need to wait. We still need a little more time," the head of state said.
Zelensky expressed confidence that the Ukrainian military could advance but warned of the risks of a "war freeze", which Russia is counting on.
At the same time, the President noted that no one can force Ukraine to give up its territories.
"They cannot put pressure on Ukraine to give up its territory. Why should any country in the world give up its territory to Putin?" he added.
