Valery Shershen, the spokesman for the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria region, announced this in the telethon "Yedini Novyny", Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.
"The enemy launched 410 attacks in the Tavria direction. Six airstrikes in the Donetsk direction and three in the Zaporizhzhia direction. And five kamikaze drone strikes were also recorded," the spokesman said.
Shershen added that the enemy carried out a number of airstrikes near Avdiivka and Pervomaiske in the Avdiivka direction.
According to him, the enemy is concentrating its efforts most on the Avdiivka and Mariinka directions. 19 combat clashes took place. Mariinka remains in the epicenter. There are the most combat encounters here, and the enemy suffers considerable losses there.
The spokesman clarified that the settlements that are being shelled are all the settlements on the contact line. They are considered by the enemy as springboards for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because, according to their calculations, an offensive may take place from there, so they chose the tactic of completely destroying these settlements.
"Total destruction is taking place. The enemy is actively using aviation for this," the speaker added.
