After leaving Bakhmut, "Wagnerians" regroup at three other locations - Danilov
"Wagner" mercenaries will continue to fight against Ukraine after leaving Bakhmut. They are now regrouping at three points.
This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with the ВВС, Censor.NET informs.
When asked if "Wagner's" mercenaries are really leaving Bakhmut, he replied: "Yes, it is happening. But that does not mean that they will stop fighting against us. They are going to concentrate more on other fronts... They will regroup on three other locations".
Danilov also supported the decision of the Ukrainian army to fight in Bakhmut for many months. He explained that Bakhmut is Ukrainian land, and Ukrainians must protect it. And he emphasized that Bakhmut "played a big role in this war."
"If we start leaving every populated place, it can lead us to our western border, as Putin wanted from the first days of the war," Danilov said.
