US will help Ukraine build "army of the future", - Blinken

The US will continue to support Ukraine and help it build the "army of the future".
This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken during his visit to Finland, Censor.NET reports with reference to "European Pravda".
According to him, such an army will include "modern air forces, integrated anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense, modern tanks and armored vehicles, national potential for the production of ammunition, as well as training to maintain the combat readiness of forces and assets."
Blinken emphasized that the United States will encourage peace initiatives for Ukraine by others.
At the same time, Washington will continue to support Ukraine militarily, since the prerequisite for effective diplomacy is Kyiv's ability to deter and defend itself against aggression, the state secretary added.
