Ukraine is ready for counteroffensive, - Zelensky

Currently, Ukraine is ready to launch a counteroffensive.

Zelensky said this in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Censor.NET reports.

"I believe that today we are ready to do it. We would like to have some things, but we can't wait for months," Zelensky said when asked about Ukraine's readiness for a counter-offensive.

In particular, he noted that Ukraine needs more Patriot systems to protect both civilians and the military.

"So the reality is as follows: 50 Patriot batteries and most people will not die. Everyone knows perfectly well that without control in the sky, any counter-offensive is very dangerous," Zelensky said.

"We believe in success, and I don't know how long it will take us," the head of state added.
