Occupiers are creating "militia" in Crimea due to fear of counteroffensive by AFU
The head of the occupying "authority" in Crimea, Serhiy Aksyonov, said that a "militia" would be formed on the peninsula. It should take part in repelling the counteroffensive of the AFU.
He told the Russian mass media about this, Censor.NET reports with reference to Krym.Realii.
"Our Crimean militia, I can't say the number at the moment, but the forces and means are more than enough to carry out tasks for the defense of Crimea, we have formed. All commanders have been appointed. All have visited their areas of responsibility," Aksyonov said.
He added that he personally supervises the process of training the "militia".
Earlier, Aksyonov stated that Ukraine allegedly will not be able to liberate the peninsula thanks to fortifications and the formation of defenses.
