Zelensky approved sanctions against 178 Russians

President Volodymyr Zelensky enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose personal sanctions against 178 people.
Decree №321/2023, published on the President's website, comes into force on the day of its publication, іnforms Censor.NЕТ.
"To enact the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated June 11, 2023 "On the Application and Amendments to Personal Special Economic and Other Restrictive Measures (Sanctions)", the document says.
The sanctions, in particular, provide for the blocking of assets, the complete cessation of trade operations, the cessation of transit of resources, flights and transportation through the territory of Ukraine, the suspension of economic and financial obligations, the prohibition of the transfer of technology, rights to intellectual property and the refusal to grant and cancel visas to residents of foreign countries, and the application of other prohibitions on entry into the territory of Ukraine.
The sanctions were imposed on 178 citizens of the Russian Federation, but 81 persons also have Ukrainian citizenship.
