The four hundred and seventy-ninth day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our country has begun. During the past day, the enemy launched another missile attack on the Kyiv region - using 6 Kh-47 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles and 6 "Kalibr" cruise missiles.
All 12 missiles were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense of the Air Force and Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the General Staff.
In addition, during the day, the enemy carried out 33 airstrikes and launched 59 attacks from rocket salvo systems. Unfortunately, in addition to the destruction of infrastructure, civilians suffered.
According to the General Staff, the probability of launching missile and air strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains very high.
The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions - 36 combat clashes took place last day.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
As noted, in the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy carried out airstrikes during the day on the settlements of Mohrytsia in the Sumy region, and Budarky in the Kharkiv region. It carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements of Leonivka, Kostobobriv, and Hremiach of the Chernihiv region; Znob-Trubchevska, Chuykivka, Sosnivka, Starykove, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Stari Virky, Basivka, Stepok, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pisarivka of the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Chervona Zoria, Hlyboke, Lyptsi, Zelene, Ternova, Okhirtseve, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Bochkove, and Mala Vovcha in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region, and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
According to the General Staff, in the Lyman direction, the enemy launched an airstrike in the area of Spirne. Stelmakhivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, and Serebrianka in the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery shelling.
"In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bila Hora and New York of the Donetsk region. Vasiukivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Khromovka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Bila Hora, Kostiantynivka, and Pivdenne were affected by enemy artillery shelling," it says. in the message.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Stepove and Avdiivka. An airstrike was carried out near the latter. He also carried out artillery shelling of Vesele and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
The General Staff also informs that in the Mariinka direction during the past day, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Marinka. The enemy launched airstrikes in Maryinka and Pobyeda districts. At the same time, he carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Maksimilianivka, and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Shakhtarske, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the direction of Novomykhailivka and Vodiane, Donetsk region, without success. It carried out airstrikes in the areas of Prechistivka, Zolota Nyva, and Blahodatny. It shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Vremivka, Storozhove, Novosilka, and Novopil of the Donetsk region.
"in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is defending. They fired at Olgivske, Poltavka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Huliaypilske, Charivne, Bilohiria, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region; Zmiivka, Shlyakhove, Beryslav, Kozatske, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Sadove, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson," the General Staff added.
Aviation of the Defense Forces per day struck 17 strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas. Also, our soldiers destroyed an enemy Ka-52 attack helicopter and 7 reconnaissance UAVs of operational-tactical level.
During the day, units of missile forces and artillery hit the control post, 3 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, 5 artillery units in firing positions, 4 electronic warfare stations, and 2 more important enemy objects.
