Enemy is trying to advance in 3 directions, 29 combat clashes took place over last day - General Staff
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts in the Lyman, Avdiivka and Mariinka sectors, with 29 clashes taking place over the last day.
This is stated in morning report of the General Staff of AFU, іnforms Censor.NЕТ.
The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions remained unchanged.
On the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. It fired mortar and artillery shells at the settlements of Halahanivka in Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Chuykivka, Rudenka, Fotovizh, Volfyno in Sumy region, as well as Okip, Chervona Zorya, Vetarine, Pylyna, Kozacha Lopan, Ogirtseve, Hatyshche, Bochkove, Budarky, Chuhunivka in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the direction of Berestove, but was unsuccessful. Krasne Pershe, Figolivka, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire from the enemy.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Vesele. He carried out air strikes near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka and New York in the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Severne in the Donetsk region. It shelled with artillery the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodiane, Umanske, Vesele, Karlivka, Pervomayske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the vicinity of Mariinka, but was unsuccessful. At the same time, it fired artillery at the localities of Krasnohorivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Heorhiivka, Kurakhove and Oleksiivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Makarivka and fired at Katerynivka, Bohoyavlenka, Novomykhailivka, Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Novoukrainka in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions, focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. He carried out air strikes in the areas of Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Robotyno in Zaporizhzhia region. He shelled about 50 settlements with artillery, including: Novodarivka, Levadne, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Gulyaypole, Gulyaypilske, Charivne, Bilohirya, Orikhiv, Prymorske in Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovs'k region; Dudchany, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Mykilske, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys in Kherson region.
