The Armed Forces of Ukraine improved their tactical defensive position in the Taurian direction and achieved partial success during counteroffensive actions.
Valery Shershen, the spokesman for the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tauri region, told about this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET reports with reference to Dzerkalo Tzhynia.
"While conducting offensive actions in certain directions, we have partial success. The enemy is making significant efforts to stop our advance, and is also suffering heavy losses in manpower, weapons, and equipment," Shershen emphasized.
Over the course of a day, the Russian army lost 242 soldiers and 16 units of weapons and military equipment killed and wounded in this direction. The Ukrainian military destroyed five ammunition depots of the Russian Federation.
