During his trip to Donetsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Troops, which distinguished themselves in the battles in the Bakhmut direction.

Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander of the Khortytsia Joint Task Force, reported to the President on the operational situation in this area and the prospects for its development.
Zelensky also spoke with the servicemen and honored them with state awards.
The Head of State awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine and presented the Order "Golden Star" to Captain Oleh Oliva, commander of the airmobile company of the 81st Airborne Brigade, who, during his military service, skillfully destroyed dozens of enemy vehicles and more than a hundred enemy soldiers together with his subordinate personnel. After being wounded, the officer repeatedly refused hospitalization and stayed with his comrades on the battlefield.
