The evening report states: "The Russian Federation continues to kill civilians in Ukraine, continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, and uses terror tactics.
Last night, the Russian occupiers struck again with Iranian Shahed strike UAVs. The air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed six kamikaze drones.
In addition, during the day, the enemy launched 2 missiles and 44 air strikes, fired about 20 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, in addition to the destroyed infrastructure, civilians suffered.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains high.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Mariinka directions, and heavy fighting continues. About 20 combat engagements took place over the last day.
The situation in the Volyn and Polissia sectors remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy launched an air strike near Ruska Lozova, Kharkiv region. It fired mortar and artillery shells at more than 25 settlements, including Leonivka in the Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Znob-Novhorodske, Nova Huta, Vovkivka in Sumy region; and Vetarnye, Kozacha Lopan, Mali Prokhody, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Bochkove, Nesterne, Kruhle and Budarky in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, more than 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Kolodiazne, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kindrashivka, Kupyansk, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Rozdolivka. He carried out air strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Zvanivka and Vyymka in the Donetsk region. More than 10 localities came under artillery fire, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnekamianske, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Bila Hora and launched an air strike near New York in the Donetsk region. About 15 localities suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka, Pivdenne in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near Avdiivka and launched an air strike there. They shelled with artillery more than 10 localities. In particular, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Karlivka, and Pervomayske in the Donetsk region were hit.
In the Mariinka direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks near the town of Mariinka, while the enemy launched an air strike within the town. At the same time, he carried out artillery attacks in the vicinity of about 10 settlements, including Mariinka and Pobieda in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Novomykhailivka. It carried out air strikes in the areas of Prechystivka and Makarivka in the Donetsk region. It shelled more than 15 settlements, including Kostyantynivka, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Vilne Pole, Storozheve, Blahodatne, Makarivka, and Rivne in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy is focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Levadne and Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region. They shelled about 30 localities with artillery. In particular, Levadne, Olhove, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Charivne in the Zaporizhzhia region; Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Olhivka, Burhunka, Lviv, Ivanivka, Naddnipryanske, Antonivka, Kherson, Komyshany, Dniprovske, Yantarne, Berehove, Tomyna Balka, Sofiyivka in Kherson region and Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region came under fire.
Due to the outbreak of viral diseases, the occupiers were forced to take measures to stabilize the sanitary and epidemiological situation in a number of settlements of the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, which suffered from the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. The invaders used public utility workers to clear the rubble and collect the flood victims. As a result of search and recovery operations, more than 60 bodies were found on June 24-25 this year alone. In order to conceal the real number of victims, the command of the Russian occupation forces decided to bury the dead in mass graves without taking DNA samples or marking the grave site.
Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces carried out 11 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, 5 on anti-aircraft missile systems and 1 on the enemy control center. Missile and artillery units struck an ammunition depot, 11 artillery units at firing positions, 3 air defense facilities and an enemy electronic warfare station over the course of the day."
