"We will bring new defense tools to Ukraine" - Zelensky on results of NATO summit
According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Kyiv will receive "new tools of defense" thanks to today’s NATO summit in Vilnius.
This was stated by Zelensky in his Telegram channel, reports Censor.NЕТ.
"Our defense is the first priority. And I am grateful to our partners for their willingness to take new steps. More weapons for our soldiers, more protection of life for the whole of Ukraine. We will bring new important defense tools to Ukraine," he said in a statement.
Zelenskyy added that numerous bilateral meetings are scheduled for the second day of the summit - with American, Canadian, German, British, Dutch, Japanese and other partners. The first inaugural meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council is also expected.
