Japan will hand over drone detection system to Ukraine

кісіда

The Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, announced that Japan will transfer a drone detection system to Ukraine as part of helping the country against the background of Russian aggression.

As Censor.NET informs about this with reference to Ukrinform.

Kishida announced the transfer of the system during a speech at the NATO summit.

It is noted that in March Kisida visited Ukraine and informed the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that Japan will allocate 30 million dollars in aid for non-lethal defense equipment through the NATO trust fund.

It is this fund that will be used to transfer the drone detection system.

In a speech on Wednesday, Kisida noted that the international community is at a historic turning point. Citing the G7 agreement at the May summit in Japan to resolutely oppose any unilateral attempts to change the status quo by force, he pledged that Japan would continue to strengthen cooperation with other countries to uphold and strengthen the international order based on the rule of law.
