Russian court extends film director Sentsov’s imprisonment until Dec. 16
The North Caucasus district military Court (the Russian Federation) extended the imprisonment of the Ukrainian film-maker Oleh Sentsov until Dec. 16.
Sentsov's sister Natalia announced, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.
"Oleh has got his imprisonment extended until Dec. 16," she said.
The private session of the court took place Thursday. The consideration of the charges against Sentsov and another Ukrainian citizen Oleksandr Kolchenko will begin at 9.30 a.m. July 21. According to Sentsov's sister, the trial of Ukrainian director will be open.
As reported earlier, Ukraine considers the arrest conducted by the Federal Security Service of Russia of Oleh Sentsov, Hennadii Afanasiev, Oleksandr Kolchenko and Oleksii Chernii, suspected of preparing terrorist acts in April 2014 in Crimea unjustified.
