AFU knocked out Russians from positions near Avdiivka, - General Staff
The enemy tried in vain to restore lost positions in the area of Klishchiivka and Kurdiumivka.
This was reported by the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Pavlo Kovalchuk, Censor.NET informs with reference to the Military Media Center.
"During the conduct of offensive assault operations by the Defense Forces, the enemy was forced to retreat from their positions in the area south of Avdiivka," the message reads.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military continues to conduct offensive actions south of the city of Bakhmut. At the same time, the enemy "made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position north and west of Klishchiivka, as well as northwest of Kurdiumivka," the spokesman said.
The defense forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions.
