Ten summaries of talks between Zelensky and Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson

Today, August 19, President Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, and based on their results, announced ten points of agreement.

Ten summaries of negotiations with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson:

1. We agreed to work on the joint production of CV-90s BMP in Ukraine.
2. Ukrainian soldiers began training to control Swedish Archers.
3. Ukrainian pilots are already participating in tests of Gripen fighters. Further steps regarding their transfer to Ukraine were discussed.
4. Sweden is preparing the transfer of a new, 13th security aid package to Ukraine.
5. Sweden has joined the Peace Formula, in particular its clauses on restoration of nuclear safety, justice, environmental protection and humanitarian demining.
6. Ukraine will be ready to start EU accession negotiations this year, and we have the support of Sweden on our way to the EU.
7. Our teams will discuss a bilateral document on security guarantees following the G7 Declaration last month.
8. Sweden is ready to provide modern water pumping systems to restore water supply after the Russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovskaya HPP.
9. Sweden will take an active part in the reconstruction of Ukraine, including with the involvement of private capital.
10. Ukraine is counting on Sweden, Swedish regions and companies to take patronage over Ukrainian regions and areas that need to be restored after the Russian strikes.

Zelensky also thanked Sweden for its firm and consistent support for Ukraine.

"Together we protect life, freedom and our common values," Zelensky concluded.
