Having occupied Crimea under its control, Russia will never surrender.

This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksiy Danilov on the eve of the summit of the International Crimean Platform, Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.

He emphasized that the occupied Crimea is a territory of Ukraine that must be liberated.

"Moreover, we will release him. Most likely, this will happen by military means, if the aggressor country does not realize by this time that it needs to leave our territory. We have no other option," he explained.

The Secretary of the National Security Council added that any other actions regarding the occupied Crimea would mean the preservation of the situation and the transfer of the war to our descendants. He noted that Russia, having Crimea under its control, will never surrender, calm down and live peacefully.

"Only after expelling it from the territory of Crimea, moving it in the Sea of Azov, we will understand that our state will have certain guarantees of security for a certain period of time. ... Will it be difficult? Yes, it will be difficult. Will they persuade us? Rather messages will be sent anyway," Danilov said.

He added that Ukraine receives a large number of messages about the fact that the state should not liberate Crimea, but they are all anonymous.

"And as soon as one person, a clerk from NATO, opened his face, he immediately received an answer from the entire world community.
Therefore, we should do our own thing, free the territories, return to the Black and Azov seas. If we do not have our own military fleet in Crimea, we will be in an extremely difficult situation from the point of view of security all the time," concluded the secretary of the NSDC.
