Avakov appoints Serhii Kniazev new police chairman in Zakarpattia

Serhii Kniazev, former Deputy Chairman of the Donetsk Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will head the Zakarpattia Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by the Internal Affairs Minister Arsen Avakov.

"I decided to appoint the chairman of the Zakarpattia Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This is colonel Serhii Kniazev," Avakov said on Wednesday in Uzhhorod at the ceremony of presentation of regional authorities.
