Poland will produce Javelin ATGM

In Poland, the production of American anti-tank systems (ATGMs) Javelin is being localized.
As reported by Censor.NET with reference to European Pravda, this was reported by PAP.
Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and Javelin Joint Venture (JJV) have signed an agreement on the production of ATGMs in Poland. Mesko SA is responsible for project implementation.
According to Mesko SA development board member Przemysław Kowalczuk, Poland will develop "not just a launcher or its components, but entire missiles."
Full production of the systems is expected to be achieved "within several years."
"The main contractor will be the Mesko plant, additionally, for some details, we will be supported by factories and companies of the Polish Armaments Group, which already produce components and participate in the supply chains of American partners," he said.
Kovalchuk assured that this agreement does not mean abandoning the production of Pirat missiles within the scope of joint Polish-Ukrainian development. He clarified that the Pirat is going through the certification process and should fill a different gap in the market than the Javelin.
