US congressmen found compromise regarding budget and aid to Ukraine

Members of the US House of Representatives have agreed to a framework for legislation providing temporary funds to prevent a government shutdown. This will allow continuing assistance to Ukraine.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Reuters.
A group of parliamentarians, which includes both Democrats and Republicans, announced the agreement on the basis for the legislation. If this were not done, money for a huge number of federal programs would run out at midnight on September 30.
Far-right Republicans had been demanding for months to cut federal spending more than was agreed to in bipartisan legislation this summer.
Members of the House Resolutions Caucus -- 32 Democrats and 32 Republicans -- released a statement saying the group had voted in favor of a temporary funding measure that would last until Jan. 11, 2024.
Temporary funding includes approval of US President Joe Biden's request for a new round of financial aid to Ukraine.
Between Oct. 1 and Jan. 11, Congress will work to pass and send Biden 12 regular appropriations bills to fund the government through Sept. 30, 2024, the group said. Funding will be set at $1.59 trillion.
