Borrell and Umerov discuss EU military assistance to Ukraine
During his visit to Kyiv, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, held his first personal meeting with Ukraine’s Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.
According to Censor.NET, Borrell tweeted about it.
"Russia's war against Ukraine is an existential threat to all of us.
During my first personal meeting with Rustem Umerov, we discussed the EU's continued military assistance. Ukraine needs more capabilities and it needs them faster. We are preparing a long-term security commitment for Ukraine," Borrell wrote.
