Estonia-Finland gas pipeline was damaged mechanically, - Pevkur
The damage to the Balticconnector gas pipeline between Estonia and Finland was caused by "quite brute force". The investigation is still ongoing.
This was stated by Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur to Reuters , Censor.NET reports.
"It is clear that these damages were caused by quite brute force," he said.
He added that investigators do not rule anything out at this stage.
"So we have yet to clarify exactly what it is, but at the moment it looks more like it was a mechanical impact or mechanical destruction," the minister added.
