Battle for electricity awaits us again, - Budanov
The Russian occupying forces are accumulating forces and means in order to launch missile strikes on the energy system of Ukraine.
Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with UP, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, the Russians failed to blackout.
"Then, thank God, it didn't succeed. But there are no special adjustments in their plans, so they will continue to do it this season as well. Unfortunately, the battle for electricity awaits us again," Budanov said.
The head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine noted that the forces and resources of the occupiers are sufficient, as they have recently launched limited missile strikes.
"The enemy has restored a certain supply. This reserve is not very significant, but it is sufficient to create very real problems not only for our energy sector, but also for the oil and gas sector, industrial enterprises, and military facilities," Budanov explained, adding that Ukraine needs more air defense.
