President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address to the citizens of Ukraine at the end of the 596th day of the war with the Russian Federation.

"Today at the meeting, we discussed, among other things, how to provide our soldiers with more of our own, Ukrainian military capabilities. It is obvious that the basic policy of the state is its own production, it is its own weapons, equipment, its own shells in all positions that are needed for the defence forces. Everything - from missiles and drones to armored vehicles and projectiles of the required calibers.
The Ministry of Strategy and Industry has already presented me with reports in several areas: "armor", missiles, ATGMs (anti-tank guided missiles). Today, the Staff hosted a report by the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations on Electronic Warfare. We are developing a comprehensive program in all of these areas with clear timelines and scope.
Another urgent task of ours is to digitize all records of supplies to the defense forces. Digitalization will provide a clear understanding of how our soldiers are provided with supplies, where deficits are formed and how they are filled. In particular, so that we can provide each of our partners with information about each delivered weapon as quickly as possible. And so that the reports here in Kyiv do not differ from the real facts on the front line," Zelenskyy said.
