Tax police arrested 20 trucks with goods smuggled for "DPR"
In the Donetsk region, Phantom tax police special unit together with the Security Service and border guards detained 20 trucks with products going to Russian-occupied territories.
This is reported by Censor.NET citing the tax police press service.
As reported, the trucks were trying to cross the demarcation line past an official checkpoint. A joint mobile group detained them in the territory of a secondary school in the village of Novoselka in the Donetsk region, where the drivers had stayed overnight. The raid also involved Kyiv-1 battalion of the Internal Affairs Ministry.
The inspection of the trucks revealed meat products, beer, mineral and soda waters, dairy products and other commodities. The drivers were not able to provide any forwarding documents.
All persons involved in the smuggling are being identified. Verification is underway.
