Half of migrants who left because of war will not return to Ukraine - Director of Institute of Demography Libanova
Ella Libanova, director of the Institute of Demography and Social Studies, believes that only half of the citizens who left the country because of the war will return to Ukraine.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Ukrainska Pravda.
"Some of the military migrants will return. I hope that we will be able to return half of it. More is unlikely," Libanova said.
She noted that the diaspora is not only those who left several generations ago but also citizens who left two years ago due to the war.
"They can provide us with more than just investments, that's not the only value they have. The main thing is that they should form a positive image of Ukraine and Ukrainians abroad," believes the director of the Institute of Demography.
