This was announced by the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov during a telephone conversation with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, Censor.NET reports with reference to the press centre of the Ministry of Defence.
As noted, Defence Minister Rustem Umerov had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin and shared with his American counterpart the latest information from the battlefield.
"He said: the enemy's losses in the area of Avdiivka as of this minute are about 4,000 soldiers," the statement said.
In addition, according to Umerov, the Ukrainian side is grateful for the continued effective cooperation and supply of artillery ammunition to Ukraine.
"Further delivery of ATACMS will allow us to more effectively target military infrastructure and command posts deep behind enemy lines in the occupied Ukrainian territories," the Ministry of Defence said following the conversation between Umerov and Austin.
