Defense forces destroyed Russian S-300V4 air defense system, - Tarnavskyi
Ukrainian defenders in the Tavria direction destroyed 3 air defense systems of the Russian troops, in particular, the S-300V4 air defense system.
This was announced by the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Censor.NET reports.
"The latest Russian S-300V4 air defense system was destroyed. In total, in the Tavria direction, the enemy carried out 23 airstrikes, conducted 44 combat clashes and carried out 888 artillery attacks.
Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line in the Avdiivka direction. The offensive actions of the enemy were unsuccessful in the areas of the settlements of Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sevierne, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Staromayorske and south of Prechystivka of the Donetsk region," the statement said.
Also, units of missile forces and artillery from the Tavria operational-strategic group performed 1241 fire missions during the day.
During the day, the losses of the enemy amounted to 542 people. 46 units of military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 2 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles, 7 artillery systems, 1 AT missile system, 3 air defense systems, including S-300V4 air defense systems, 26 UAVs, 3 cars, a unit of special equipment, an ammunition depot and 1 other important object.
The offensive operation in the Melitopol direction continues.
