Russia is preparing Maidan-3 and wants to overthrow president, - Zelenskyy

Russia is trying to sow discord among Ukrainians and wants to stage a coup d’état.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a conversation with foreign journalists, Censor.NET reports with reference to Bloomberg.

"The Ukrainian leader said that Moscow is looking for opportunities to sow discord in Ukrainian society by creating "chaos" in the country and eventually removing the president," the publication said.

"Our intelligence has information that also came from our partners," Zelenskyy was quoted as saying.

He said that the Russians called their plan "Maidan-3".

"For them, Maidan is a coup, so the operation is understandable," Zelenskyy said.
