At the same time, Fityo noted that there is a tendency to increase the enemy's use of kamikaze drones, but Russian troops are guided by the principle of "not quality, but quantity."
"The enemy fired 353 shots, but with all that, 203 Ruscists in the Bakhmut direction were destroyed just in the past day, and 48 units of enemy equipment, including 4 tanks, 3 APCs, and 1 combat vehicle," he added.
At the same time, Fityo said, the Defense Forces repelled 5 Russian attacks in the Kupian direction. The enemy carried out 16 airstrikes, carried out 467 attacks, and used 9 UAVs.
"165 Russian soldiers were eliminated and 57 pieces of military equipment were destroyed: 6 tanks, 2 APCs, 5 IFVs, 2 MTLBs, 4 guns. Yesterday, the enemy suffered serious losses precisely in the equipment," he emphasized.
The spokesman said that the Russian invaders did not achieve strategic success either in the Bakhmut or the Lyman-Kupiansk directions.
"Ukrainian defenders courageously hold the defense and inflict heavy losses on the Russian occupiers," he concluded.
