Defense forces destroyed Russian air defense system Buk-M1, - Tarnavsky
Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defense in the Avdiivka direction.
This was announced by the commander of the operational and strategic group of troops "Tavria", General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, Censor.NET informs.
"The Buk-M1 air defense system was destroyed. The total losses of the enemy in the operational zone of the OSGT "Tavria" for the second day in a row are about 700 people. In the direction of Tavria, the occupiers carried out 16 airstrikes, conducted 43 combat engagements, and fired 762 artillery shells. Our defenders are firmly holding the defense in the Avdiivka direction," the message reads.
The enemy lost 675 people.
Also, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 22 units of military equipment of the Russian Federation, in particular, 2 tanks, 8 ACVs, 3 artillery systems, 1 air defense vehicle, 1 unmanned aerial vehicle, 7 cars. Another 37 enemy vehicles were damaged.
An offensive operation in the Melitopol direction continues.
