Poroshenko signs law to protect ATO participants' subsidies
The president Poroshenko signed the law on amendments to the law of Ukraine on housing and communal services aimed at appropriate social and economic protection of the ATO participants and their families.
This is reported by Censor.NET citing the presedential press service. The Verkhovna Rada passed the law July 15. It was supported by 242 deputies out of 322 registered in the session hall.
According to the amendments, Article 32 of the law of Ukraine on housing and communal services is updated by the following provision: when calculating a subsidy to consumers who are taking (have taken) part in the ATO, and / or family members applying for a housing subsidy for reimbursement of housing and communal services, purchase of liquefied gas, solid and liquid stove fuel, their comprehensive income does not include:
- salaries and other payments and social benefits received during their direct participation in the ATO;
- charity assistance regardless of size and origin obtained during and / or after their direct participation in the ATO.
The law comes into force on the day following the day of its publication and takes effect two months from the date of its entry into force.
