Occupiers somewhat reduce number of attacks in Kupiansk direction, - Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Russian invaders continue to use aviation and kamikaze drones on the frontline, but have somewhat reduced the number of attacks in the Kupiansk direction.
This was stated by the head of the public relations service of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Fitio, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"The Russian occupiers have intensified their attacks along the entire line in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Joint Task Force. According to Fitio, seven hostile attacks were repelled in the Kupiansk direction and six in the Lyman direction over the last day. Combat actions took place in the area of Sinkivka, Petropavlivka, Stelmakhivka, and Serebrianske forestry.
"Russian occupants continue to use aviation, in particular strike bombers, helicopters for fire support, and drop high-explosive bombs on Ukrainian positions, this concerns Serebrianske forestry," the spokesman added.
Russians are also actively using kamikaze drones, 24 were launched in the Lyman-Kupiansk direction over the last day. The enemy launched 694 artillery strikes at the positions of Ukrainian defenders in this sector.
344 occupants were killed in action yesterday, and 60 pieces of occupant military equipment were damaged or destroyed, including five tanks and five armoured personnel carriers.
"In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 enemy attacks. The fighting took place near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka. One air strike was carried out. 25 kamikaze drones were launched at our defenders, 560 times they were shelled," said the spokesman.
He added that Ukrainian troops eliminated 176 occupants in the sector. In particular, one enemy tank and an infantry fighting vehicle were destroyed.
